Lori schwartz

executive functioning coach

I’m an executive functioning coach and the intake coordinator at HPC. As a coach, I provide adjunctive support to therapy or standalone EF support by assisting with skills such as organization, processing, time management, and reasoning. I assist in emotional regulation during strenuous tasks and provide a solution-focused model to help clients achieve their goals. My strengths-based approach allows me to collaboratively break down goals into small, manageable tasks. I work with students and adults who experience Depression, Anxiety, Trauma and ADHD and people who are Autistic.

I have a BA in Film from Barnard College, Columbia University, where I focused on screenwriting. I’m also a Certified Professional Life Coach. Previously, I was a (mostly TV) actor and co-founded a non-profit performing arts company where I directed plays and wrote short films. I believe in the intersection between organization and creativity. It’s my privilege to support people in finding their own unique approach to structuring their lives and achieving satisfaction.

I also founded and run Seed Collaborative, a company that provides business administration for therapists and psychiatrists. I oversee a team of administrators and I consult and coach mental health practitioners in their professional growth. I love to listen and to pay close attention to what makes each person an individual. A target area of interest is working with professionals to assist them in meeting daily goals that are typically burdened by their busy lives and extensive responsibilities.
